It's Offsite server license offers:
- Microsoft Windows server OS support
- Network share support
- Backup & restore of Exchange, SQL, and VMware (This feature requires a minimum OS of Windows Server 2003)
- VSS writer backup and restore to Exchange, SYSVOL, and Active Directory (This feature requires a minimum OS of Windows Server 2003)
Desktop Licenses: $3.95 + $0.50/GB $0.45/GB per month
The It's Offsite desktop license currently supports Windows Vista, XP, and 2000, preferably with NTFS. It is now also available in beta for Power PC and Intel Macs.
Most Windows Vista and XP users will be using NTFS, unless you upgraded from a previous version of Windows. If you are running Windows with a FAT32 file system, It's Offsite will be unable to back up any files that are opened or locked when the backup is run. Microsoft describes how to convert FAT32 partitions to NTFS here.
Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000 Server are only supported with a server license.
You will need one license for each computer being backed up.
Accounts are billed annually or every two years.
